The Final Authority.

"The question has been answered. The answer is final. You will not like it."

Submit a Question

The Final Authority issues final, unappealable determinations on questions that have no other answer. Not factual questions; those have answers elsewhere. This is for the questions that persist: whose turn it is, whether that email was passive-aggressive, who started it, and whether the thing that happened was as bad as it felt or worse than it was remembered.

Both parties must agree to consult The Final Authority before a question is accepted. Once accepted, the question enters deliberation. The deliberation period is unspecified. It appears to be permanent for most cases. When a determination is issued, it is final. There is no appeal. The matter is settled. Both parties have agreed to live with the answer.

This is the capstone of the Peregrin Arc portfolio. It is the institution that every other institution eventually defers to. Moot Point declares things moot. The Concession Bureau concedes points. The Recusal Office extracts you from situations. The Final Authority actually answers the question. The answer is final. Everyone is unhappy. This is what finality feels like.
